The Medical Board of Governors is a group of leading medical specialists, hospital CEO’s, and key executive leaders in the healthcare and medical sector in Palm Beach County.
Their mission is: “To Lead the Way as a Health Care Organization, to Advocate, Explore, Integrate, Develop, Promote, Mentor, and Inspire.”
The Medical Board of Governors and the Doctors Networking Group is unique to the Central Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce in that doctors are exclusively invited to socialize with and engage each other. Doctors and Healthcare Professionals are invited to mingle in a closed setting designed especially to give the doctors time to learn from each other and discuss the latest in medicine, public policy affecting healthcare, and operational innovations.

Dr. David Soria
Wellington Regional Medical Center - Chief of Emergency Medicine
Dr. Soria is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic/Case Western Reserve University/MetroHealth Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Soria is currently the Chief of Emergency Medicine at Wellington Regional Medical Center. Dr. Soria continues to serve as an actively practicing Emergency physician and Medical Director of Emergency Specialists of Wellington, the ED group for Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Florida. He is also currently very active with the NBA as the Assistant Director of Medical Affairs. This role consists of providing concierge medical care for NBA players and staff at NBA events at national and international venues, including NBA Asia and Europe. Dr. Soria is the Health Specialist for WPTV Newschannel 5 and WFLX Fox News29 for all of Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast, reaching over 1 million viewers. He airs every Tuesday on the 8am news, as well as the Ask Dr. Soria segment every Wednesday at noon.
