Dr. Juan Gomez

Dr. Juan Gomez is the Medical Director of the Vascular Institute and the Neurointerventional Radiology Program at Wellington Regional Medical Center. He completed a Diagnostic Radiology fellowship at Tulane University, where he was chief resident. His residency was followed by fellowships in Neurodiagnostic Radiology and Neurointerventional Radiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Maryland and Vascular and Interventional Radiology fellowship at Miami Cardiac and Vascular Institute. He is a member of the Society of Neurointerventional Surgery, the Society of Interventional Radiology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology. His research projects focused on endovascular intracranial aneurysm treatment, aortic aneurysm repair with endografts, endovascular treatment of arterial and venous disease, as well as carotid stenting. He has lectured internationally and authored and co-authored scientific articles and abstracts in prestigious medical journals.
