Wellington Regional Medical Center - Chief Operating Officer
Elizabeth Rochaine serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Wellington Regional Medical Center. In her role, she has oversight of major construction projects and development and operation of service lines. Most recently, Elizabeth was the COO at HCA Florida Capital Hospital in Tallahassee. She previously served as Assistant Administrator at Wellington Regional Medical Center and Associate Administrator at The George Washington University Hospital. In these roles, Elizabeth oversaw the growth of various departments and led the implementation of key service lines and the launch of over $100M in construction projects including a 20-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility, 10-bed NICU, a freestanding ER, a thrombectomy program, the addition of an OR and Hybrid OR, and the renovation of the interventional radiology suite and Intensive Care Unit. She has been responsible for the launch of a Comprehensive Lung Program, TAVR Program, Neonatal Intensive Care Program, Inpatient Rehabilitation Program amongst other service line implementations and management and is currently assisting with the development of the new UHS Alan B. Miller Medical Center in Palm Beach Gardens.
Elizabeth earned a Healthcare Master of Business Administration from Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management and a Master of Science in Hearing and Speech Sciences from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. Elizabeth is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), a top distinction of board certification in healthcare management. Always involved in each community she has lived in, Elizabeth completed Leadership Central Palm Beach and is an active member of the Association of Junior Leagues International, most recently serving as Director of Funding with Junior League of Tallahassee and as the previous Chair of Member Engagement in the Junior League of the Palm Beaches. Elizabeth serves on the Board of Directors for the American College of Healthcare Executives South Florida and is currently a member of Leadership Palm Beach Engage Class of 2024. Elizabeth was recently honored by Healthcare Innovation as a 40 Under 40 Leader.
Elizabeth lives in Wellington with her husband, Matthew, daughter Madeline, and dog Ruby. She enjoys traveling and trying new restaurants.
